Outreach and Community Partners
We exist to share the love of Christ, grow in love for God and our neighbor, and seek God's will for our lives. Our many activities focus on relationship, study, worship and outreach.

Worship Services
Offering worship services and the Eucharist is our main outreach to those seeking a closer relationship with Christ. When we gather for worship, we recognize God’s intent in making us relational. God created us needing one another (Gen 2:18). Attending Sunday services and participating in the Eucharist with others has its divine purpose.
PIMIL
Partners in Ministry in Liberia
PIMIL is an outreach scholarship assistance program to assist families of children who live below the United Nations defined poverty level on less than $1.90 a day. Founded through St. Matthew's, PIMIL helps impoverished Liberian students cover their education cost who otherwise would not attend college.
Pride
St. Matthew's welcomes all, including the marganized and ostracized of the LGBTQ+ community. We let that message be known through our participation at Westerville's annual Pride Parade/Festival.

Street Church
We partner with St. John's Episcopal Church in downtown Columbus to share a simple worship service with our neighbors who may not feel comfortable inside church buildings, then continue our fellowship with a free and healthy lunch.
Otterbein's Promise House and Community Garden
Otterbein University's Promise House mission is to break down socioeconomic barriers to success for students. St. Matthew's helps provide supplies for their food pantry and donates produce from our summer community garden.
Blendon Middle School
We check in with neighboring Blendon School and donate much needed school supplies throughout the school year.
Artist Partnerships
St. Matt's regularly invites local artist to share their work at our Pray Think Love House and also share how their faith impacts their work. At our bi-weekly Pause and Paint events, folks meditate on text and spend quiet time painting.
